big boost for Florida Specialty License Plate revenue in april - michael towner

Total revenue for specialty license plates for April 2019 was $2,647.323.00, an increase of 0.3%  from $2,563,777.00 in April, 2018. The sale of standard Florida plates decreased 1.8% to 1,250,321 plates in April, 2019, from 1,273,636 in April, 2018.
For April, 2019, Endless Summer was the highest grossing plate at $155,600.00, followed by University of Florida at $155,500.00, closely followed by Helping Sea Turtles at $147,729.00.
Miami Heat showed the biggest overall percentage revenue increase compared to April, 2018, at  17.5% bringing in $92,275.00, compared to $78,550.00 in April, 2018. 
Endless Summer sold the most new plates for April 2019, 1,579, with Helping Sea Turtles selling 1,011. Miami Heat came in third selling 975, compared to 411 in April, 2018, an increase of 137%. Probably driven by the introduction of the new Miami Heat Vice Nights design.
Stop Heart Disease showed a significant increase in new plate sales of 53%  from 76 in April, 2018, to 116 in April, 2019.
So far this year, through April 30, University of Florida has sold 702,925 plates, Endless Summer 632,625, Helping Sea Turtles 591,123 and Florida State University 555,500.
