According to the official presale count on the FLHSMV website, 8,381 presale vouchers have been purchased as of December 6, 2020, representing $209,525.00 in advance specialty license plate user fees; $41,805.00 for state specialty license plate processing fees and $25,143.00 for county service charge/branch fees; for a total of $276,573.00.
A total of 102,000 vouchers must be sold if all proposed specialty plates are to be approved, for a total of $3,366,000.00. Newly approved Specialty License Plates will be issued in the order they appear in the list established in Florida Statute s.320.08058; provided the organization has met the presale requirement of 3,000, or 4,000 for out-of-state colleges or universities. (The Divine 9 need a combined 3,000.) According to FLHSMV, the data is pulled weekly from a source that can be 5 days behind. Additionally, they had a database migration that occurred in stages over the past few weeks, part of their Motorist Modernization project. Once that data catches up, they anticipate the data to be more current on a weekly refresh schedule. Also, some counties have a 3rd party vendor handling their pre-sales and those may not have made it into the DMV systems yet. You can order by clicking here (additional fees apply) or at your local Tax Collector's office or DMV.
